CERT is a course that provides citizens with basic survival & rescue training to improve their chances of survival in the event of a disaster prior to the arrival of an emergency response agency.

Midway Fire District CERT is open to all residents and businesses of the district. Team members will be provided with advanced training each year and may be called upon for various activities of the District including public relations events, assistance at an emergency incident if called for by Incident Command, or is activated during a disaster.
