Hazardous Materials Team

Midway Fire District maintains a Type III Hazardous Materials Team. The team is equipped and trained at the technician level. The team has the ability to perform air monitoring, Haz-Cat detection, Biological sampling, and various other diction for the presence of hazardous materials.

The Haz-Mat team is equipped with several CGI's, PID, Bio-Detection equipment, and more. The team regularly trains on hazardous materials research, decon, and leak control.
