Special Operations Team

The Special Operations team is equipped and trained to deal with high angle, confined space, specialty extrication and structural collapse rescue. This team is extremely valuable in times following hurricanes.

The Midway Team is part of Florida Urban Search and Rescue Team 102. By utilizing special equipment such as Petrogen torches, Confined Space Cameras, Core hole saws, special listening devices and many other types of equipment, the team is able to rescue those who may become entangled or entrapped in such a manner that a specialty type rescue is needed.
