Administration Chief Missy Scarborough began her career with Midway Fire District in the late summer of 2010. Missy received her Florida Special District’s Association certification as a Certified District Manager in 2012. Missy oversees the district’s accounting and budgetary functions that are associated with the day-to-day operations of a career fire department to ensure the district’s Audited Annual Financial Report is free from findings and filed with the state in a timely manner. Missy is responsible for overseeing the district’s payroll, personnel benefits, and the firefighter’s pension plan.
